Are you a foodie looking for a unique and fun way to explore the dining scene in the Metro Vancouver area? Look no further than The Swine List, a new food critic blog that is sure to catch your attention - the 5-Pig Rating System a.k.a THE BOAR-OMETER!

The Boar-ometer is a playful, pig-themed rating system designed to measure your experience on a scale of 1 to 5. Just like a boar’s wild energy, the Boar-ometer gauges everything from "Hog Heaven" equaling to five piggies for an exceptional experience, to "Boar-ing" equalling to two piggies for something that falls flat. It's a fun and lighthearted way to sum up our thoughts, with each level representing a different degree of satisfaction — whether you’re totally wild about it or just barely "oinking" by. The Boar-ometer makes reviews more entertaining, while keeping things clear and easy to understand!

HOW IT WORKS

5 PIGGIES | Hog Heaven!

A perfect experience, as if you've reached paradise — everything was top-notch, like a pig in heaven! It's worth every last oink.

4 PIGGIES & A PIGLET | Perfect Piglet!

Almost flawless, with only a tiny detail or two holding it back from being a total hog-tastic win. Still, it’s nearly as good as it gets.

4 PIGGIES | Sow Good, I'd Go Again!

A wonderful experience with just a couple of minor hiccups. It’s definitely worth a return trip!

3 PIGGIES & A PIGLET | Worth the Squeal!

For a place that is definitely worth checking out – it makes you squeal with delight! It just needs a little more snout action but it's getting there!

3 PIGGIES | Boar-derline

A solid, decent experience. Not bad, but not particularly memorable — it could use a little more oomph.

2 PIGGIES & A PIGLET | Pigging Out On A Potential

Close but not quite there. It shows potential and could easily improve with a little more attention to detail.

2 PIGGIES | Oink, But Not Quite

Something was off. It’s not a disaster, but there were enough missteps that left you wishing for more.

1 PIGGY | A Little Oink, A Lot Of Nothing

Disappointing. This experience didn’t meet expectations — like a pig on strike, it just didn’t deliver. This piggy needs a rest.
