Every piggy has its go-to pen, and for us, that’s Galbi Korean BBQ. Ever since we stumbled upon their Coquitlam location, it’s been a love story written in sizzling pork belly and smoky grills. Now with two new locations in New Westminster and Gilmore, the Galbi empire is growing — and trust us, your inner foodie needs to follow the scent.

We stopped by the New Westminster branch to see if they could match the OG spot’s quality… and spoiler alert — they did not disappoint.

Our go-to order? The Ohgyeopsal 오겹살 (skin-on pork belly) and the 비빔냉면 Bibim Naengmyeon — a combo we’ve been loyal to since day one. The pork belly had that perfect balance of crispy edges and juicy fat that melts on your tongue, while the naengmyeon added a refreshing, spicy contrast.

Starting October 17, 2025, they’re launching an All You Can Eat (AYCE) menu Featuring 삼겹살 Samgyupsal (Skinless pork belly) and 양념 갈비 Marinated Galbi — both fan favorites that promise pure grilled bliss. With unlimited 반찬 banchan (side dishes) and 밥 rice, you’ll be in full pig-out paradise.
