THE PIG PEN

Casual, cozy, and buzzing with energy — especially during peak hours. While it can get loud, that just adds to the warm and lively vibe.

What really stands out? The service. We’re regulars now, and the staff treats us like family. But even if it’s your first time, they go above and beyond with S-tier attentiveness and kindness. It's the kind of place where they remember your usual and ask how your week was.

OINK-CREDIBLE BITES

The food? Oink-credible. One of the reasons we keep coming back is the insane variety of soup bases and add-ins. You can really tailor the experience to your cravings or dietary needs.

Our Go-To Combos:

  • Pork neck with Thai Tom Yum broth and vermicelli noodles – tangy, spicy, and perfect on cold days

  • Blade eye beef with classic chicken broth and instant noodles – pure comforting goodness

And for when we want to mix it up, we’ve also tried:

  • Soy milky broth with cheese – rich and unique

  • Spicy signature broth – bold and fiery

  • Korean kimchi broth – punchy and packed with depth

You also get a free ice cream with the combo meals — a little sweet treat that seals the deal.

PIGGY BANK SAVINGS

Prices have gone up over the years (like everywhere), but Gokudo continues to deliver top-notch quality for what you pay. And if you play it smart, the promos make it even better.

Promos to Watch:

  • Lunch combo for 2: ~$20 per person

  • Summer combo for 4: ~$25 per person (great for group hangs!)

  • Late-night Happy Hour (after 9PM): 25% OFF, free refills on drinks

So whether you’re watching your wallet or planning a feast, there’s always a way to get value here.

FINAL THOUGHTS

It’s no secret we love this place. Gokudo Shabu Shabu continues to impress with every visit — through warm service, thoughtful menu variety, and a welcoming space to slurp, dip, and chat. It’s a dependable hot pot spot that never feels stale.

And yes, we’ll be back. Again and again. With more friends and more belly room.
