THE PIG PEN

Hot Spot’s interior is modern and inviting, with clean lines and warm lighting that makes settling in for a long meal easy. Staff were kind and attentive — they explained the menu with patience, kept things running smoothly, and checked in just enough without hovering. We arrived right at opening and snagged a comfortable spot, but by the time we left, the place was bustling. If you want to skip the wait, arrive early or be ready to join the herd.

OINK-CREDIBLE BITES

This buffet doesn’t play around. The wall of fresh meats, seafood, veggies, and carbs makes building your own feast feel like a playground. For BBQ, the thick-cut pork belly, marinated chicken, and beef were standouts, and it’s fun to go KBBQ-style with kimchi and lettuce wraps. For hotpot, we loved the richness of the pork bone broth and the fiery kick of the mala.

But the hidden gem? The hot buffet side dishes — braised pork belly, mapo tofu, prawns, and crawfish — could almost be a full meal on their own. It’s rare for an AYCE spot to put this much effort into their cooked dishes, and we devoured them. Dessert was simple (fruit, buns, jelly), but let’s be honest: you’ll already be rolling home.

PIGGY BANK SAVINGS

At $39.99 for AYCE hotpot or BBQ (or both for just $2.99 more), this place is a bargain for the sheer amount and quality of food offered. Drinks are also wallet-friendly, with soda at $0.99, juice at $3.95, and a whopping 50oz pitcher of beer for $15.99. If you’re looking to splurge, the premium set at $53.99 unlocks even more cuts like Angus beef, enoki beef rolls, and adventurous bites like chicken feet.

For budget-conscious piggies, there are deals worth noting: lunch AYCE at $24.99 and a midnight special for $24.99. Whether you’re a daytime grazer or a late-night snacker, there’s a deal for you. For the amount we ate, we left full and satisfied — this is one of those places where your piggy bank will thank you while your belly squeals with joy.

FINAL THOUGHTS

Hot Spot Buffet isn’t here to reinvent the wheel — it’s here to roll you out the door stuffed and happy. Between the massive variety, flavorful sides, and the ability to grill and boil to your heart’s content, it’s an AYCE dream for indecisive eaters (or bottomless ones like us). Come hungry, bring friends, and maybe wear stretchy pants. We’ll definitely be trotting back.
