A Sweet Dive Into Little Pisces: Affordable Taiyaki and Soft Serve Desserts

This piggy has a soft spot for soft serve — and when it comes wrapped in a warm, golden taiyaki cone, you know I’m trotting over without hesitation. Conveniently tucked near Lougheed and easy to get to by transit, Little Pisces is a dessert stop worth the hype.

They specialize in taiyaki (those adorable fish-shaped cakes) and soft serve, which can be paired together for the ultimate indulgence. You can even line the taiyaki cone with a filling, though I’m a bigger fan of keeping it plain to let the soft serve shine. They also offer pints and drinks, but the star of the show is always the taiyaki + soft serve combo.

THE PIG PEN
Little Pisces is cozy and compact — which means it fills up fast. On weekends or hot summer nights, expect a line and a bit of a wait for a seat. If you’re not lucky enough to snag a table, you might find yourself enjoying your treat standing outside by the lot or strolling with it in hand.

Service, however, is quick and efficient, keeping things moving smoothly even during peak hours. It’s less about lingering here and more about grabbing your dessert fix and heading back out with a happy belly.
OINK-CREDIBLE BITES
This is where Little Pisces shines brightest. The taiyaki menu is playful, with both staples and Lougheed-exclusive flavors. We’ve tried the hotteok and pizza taiyaki (unique to this location), as well as classics like taro orube, Nutella, red bean, and custard. Every bite is warm, pillowy, and perfectly filled.
On the soft serve side, the rotating flavors keep things exciting — banana milk (a Lougheed exclusive and a nostalgic delight), matcha mango, hojicha, black sesame, and ube were all standouts. Creamy, flavorful, and never too sweet, every swirl hits the spot. Honestly, I’d happily just buy the taiyaki cones plain to snack on — that’s how good they are.
PIGGY BANK SAVINGS
Little Pisces is a premium dessert spot, and prices reflect that — but it’s far from unreasonable. You’re paying for quality soft serve, inventive taiyaki, and an experience that feels like a treat rather than an everyday snack. Perfect for when you want something special without straining the piggy bank.
FINAL THOUGHTS

Little Pisces delivers on every level of taste, with playful flavors, a creative menu, and that irresistible taiyaki cone. The space may be small and often busy, but the efficient service and unforgettable desserts make up for it. Whether it’s a seasonal flavor or a Lougheed-exclusive, this piggy will always come back for more.
5/5 would always come back.
